Model: BMW Serie 7
E68, E65, MK 4, E67, E66
- Years 2001-2008
Maintaining your car is essential. Sometimes, certain tasks are overlooked by car owners. One of these can be replacing the coolant, which prevents excessive heat generated by the engine from overheating various components of the vehicle. Therefore, it is necessary to change it to avoid overheating. The following guide shows how to do it. Open the hood and remove the cap from the expansion tank to speed up the draining of the old fluid and the drain plug located at the bottom of the radiator. Place a container underneath to collect the old fluid. Once the system is completely drained, screw the drain plug back in, open the bleed valve, and pour the coolant into the radiator from the expansion tank. Then start the car to ensure the operation was successful.
