Radiator Removal and Replacement

Model: BMW Serie 7 MK 2, MK 3, E32, E38 - Years 1986-1994
Part: Radiator

First, perform this repair with the engine cold to avoid burns.
The radiator is simply attached to the front grille with snap fasteners.
Remove the clamps securing the hoses connected to the radiator and slide off the hoses; then, unscrew the bolts securing the two rigid pipes and disconnect the fasteners to extract the radiator from its position by pulling it upward. Transfer any reducers from the old radiator to the new one and insert the new radiator into its position, reattaching the fasteners; reconnect all the pipes and reposition the air duct from the fan to the radiator, securing it properly.
Then, unscrew the bleed screw and fill the cooling system with the appropriate antifreeze until it flows out of the bleed screw. Tighten the screw and check the proper operation of the fan.
