Replacing Front Brake Discs and Pads

Replacing the brake discs and pads on this car model is straightforward since the pads are secured to the caliper with pins, making removal easy; therefore, lift the vehicle on a lift, remove the front wheel, use a pin punch to extract the retaining pins of the pads from the caliper, and remove the respective spring; then, remove the caliper complete with the bracket and the disc mounting bolt; clean the disc seat on the hub with a wire brush and apply grease before installing the new disc, cleaning it of protective oil; then reassemble the caliper, insert the new pads, and complete the installation by applying the spring and pins.
