In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the rain sensor in a BMW 3 Series, a very simple and quick operation. To do this, you will need a plastic trim tool to avoid leaving any marks.

First, fully lower the interior rearview mirror, then pry off the base cover by leveraging along the central seam. Once completely removed, you can detach the mirror, disconnect the sensor connector, and unlock the mounting clips.

To install the replacement, simply follow the reverse procedure.
