Let's see how to change the damaged handle on the BMW 3 Series E92 version: First, we need to get the replacement handle, which we can find on eBay with the code 402241753932 and a price of 34.90 each (including delivery charges). To remove it, we first need to remove the wooden trim from the door by prying it with a plastic spatula. Using the same spatula, we also pry open the handle into two halves. Once the top pressure part is removed, we unscrew the screws that hold the bottom part to the body. We use the same spatula to help us remove the entire door cover from the body. We disconnect all electrical connectors. If necessary, we take a photo to ensure we reconnect them correctly. Now, from the rear, we can remove the plastic screws that hold the back part of the handle in place. We can proceed to install the new handle by inserting the screws that come with the kit.
