To replace the cabin fan in a BMW 5 Series, use a tool to pry off the control panel located at the center of the dashboard. Once this panel is completely removed, you can also pull out the radio by disconnecting its connectors at the back. This will make the cabin fan visible within its housing, allowing you to remove it by disconnecting its connectors and loosening the mounting screws. Then, you can install the new fan by reconnecting it and reinstalling all previously removed components.
