In order to replace the cabin fan of the BMW 5 Series, you need to pry with an object to detach the control panel located in the center of the dashboard. Once this panel is completely removed, you can also remove the car radio by disconnecting its connectors at the back. This way, the cabin fan will be visible inside its housing and can be removed by disconnecting its connectors and loosening the fixing screws. Then, you can insert the new fan, reconnect it, and reinstall all the previously removed components.
