In this tutorial, you will see how to remove the front door panel on a BMW 3 Series, a very simple and quick operation. First, open the door in question.

Then, using a plastic trim tool, carefully pry off the cover of the armrest and remove the two screws exposed with a T25 Torx wrench. Next, detach the window switch console, disconnect the corresponding connector, and, prying along the entire perimeter of the panel, separate it from the door.

At this point, you can disconnect the lock cable and install any replacement part if needed.
