Removal of the Adaptive Bi-Xenon Headlight

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

First, open the hood and remove the front bumper. Use a wrench to remove the two bolts securing the headlight at the top through two brackets. Locate the other two bolts that hold the headlight in place. They are located at the bottom, approximately at both ends of the headlight. Remove them with a wrench. At this point, to extract the headlight, you need to unlock the body piece directly beneath it. Use a screwdriver to gently release the clip mechanism of the body element. Now disconnect the five electrical connectors of the headlight, and you can pull it out from its housing. To separate the body piece from it, simply act on the clips at the headlight. The maintenance operation shown in the images is performed on a BMW 3 Series.
