Removing the Outside Rearview Mirror

Model: BMW Serie 3 E91, E90, E92 - Years 2005-2013

To remove the outside rearview mirror, first remove the door panel: start by detaching the trim that covers the central section of the panel to access the screws underneath that secure the panel to the door; at this point, pry along the edge of the panel to release the clips and pull the panel away enough to disconnect the lock cable and its connectors; then detach the triangular plastic cover located right behind the mirror that houses the tweeter: you can now disconnect the connector and unscrew the mounting pins of the mirror itself.
