Operation: Removing the front door panel

The internal door panel is secured with torx screws and press-fit plastic fasteners. First of all, remove the square-shaped plastic cap on the panel (next to the side airbag container) and unscrew the first fixing screw with a 20 mm torx screwdriver (it is recommended to use a magnetic tip screwdriver to facilitate the extraction of the screws ). Identify two other caps positioned immediately behind the handle of the internal handle, remove them and unscrew the other two torx screws. Unhook the plastic frame of the opening handle, pulling it forward. At this point, using a plastic lever, unhook the plastic fixing elements of the panel, located both at the bottom and at the sides: it is therefore possible to remove the panel from the glass scraper gasket by unhooking the sockets connected to the loudspeakers. If the element connecting the panel to the scraper gasket is detached and / or damaged, unhook it from the gasket and glue it back to the panel before reassembling it.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?
