Operation: How to replace the tensioner and pulleys.

First of all identify the position of the timing belt. In this case, it is located in the engine compartment immediately behind the radiator. To access it, the ventilation box immediately above must be removed. To do this, we unscrew the various bolts that lock it in place and, after disconnecting the power supply, we remove everything. Now we need to remove the radiator fan and we do it using the special keys to unscrew it from its position. Now we can remove tension from the air conditioner belt by acting on the tensioner with the appropriate key. We remove the belt and the tensioner replacing it with the new one. Now we take the tension off the belt in the upper position and remove it. We replace two pulleys and the element on which they are mounted. We put the belts back in place and reassemble the pieces we had removed to be able to work. The maintenance operation that is performed in the images is carried out on a BMW 3 Series.

How do you adjust the clutch cable on the Kia Picanto?

To be able to adjust the clutch cable of the Kia Picanto you need to open the hood so that you have access to the components inside the engine compartment: in order to reach the cable you will need to remove some components on the right side, such as the battery and the air filter. Below them you will find the clutch cable, which will have to be adjusted by screwing or loosening the bolt placed at the end of the cable. This will make the pedal harder or softer; after the adjustment, it will be possible to assemble all the components by closing the hood.
