How to Reset the Service Light on a BMW 5 Series

This short video tutorial shows you the step-by-step procedure to reset the maintenance light on your BMW 5 Series. It is recommended to perform this procedure only after completing the service; no tools or software are required. To reset the light, press and hold the button on the left side of the dashboard, while holding it, turn on the ignition. After the dashboard lights up, release the button and press it again to navigate through the menu until you find the oil light, which is the maintenance light. Once located, hold the button to bring up the reset option. When the reset option appears, release the button and press it again to confirm the reset. At this point, the procedure is complete, and you can restart the dashboard.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
