Maintenance on the automatic transmission is essential and should be performed every 37,282 mi; you need to replace the filter integrated into the oil pan of the transmission and, of course, the oil as well, ensuring you completely drain the old oil from the system. For this reason, it is recommended to consult specialized personnel, especially those equipped with the proper equipment known as a flushing machine. This is essentially a pump that injects new oil and extracts the old oil, ensuring complete replacement. Often, before replacement, a treatment with specific additives is also performed to eliminate any sludge and residues.
