In this tutorial, you will see how to recalibrate the sunroof in a BMW 5 Series, a very simple operation to perform in case of issues or after replacing the battery. First, enter the cabin and turn on the instrument cluster; it is not necessary to start the engine.

Locate the sunroof control button. Next, press and hold this button in position for the entire time needed for the sunroof to complete the automatic calibration procedure.

To verify that the operation was successful, you can restart the instrument cluster.
