First, get a coin or a small screwdriver and insert it into the side slot of the cover. Open the cover and then proceed to replace the button battery with a new one (model CR2032). Once finished, correctly reassemble the cover and you're done.

All that's left is to test the key to ensure it works properly.

How to Remove the Rear Seat of a Hyundai Tucson?
