How to Replace the Key Fob Battery on a Cadillac CTS

If you need to replace the key fob battery on this vehicle, follow the instructions in this description and refer to the tutorial video. First, extract the emergency key by pressing the small button on the side. Then, use a screwdriver to pry open the emergency key compartment to release the cover. Behind the cover is the battery compartment, which you can remove and replace with a new CR 2032 battery. Be careful to position the positive terminal facing down. Reattach the key fob cover and then reinsert the emergency key.
