How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for the Cadillac Escalade

If the key fob for your new Cadillac Escalade (2021-2023) has stopped working due to a dead battery and you want to learn how to replace it, follow these instructions carefully. First, press the button located on the side of the cover and pull out the emergency key. Next, remove the back cover and take off the protective cap on the button battery. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new CR 2450 battery. Once this is done, reattach the back cover, and you're finished.
