How to Replace the Key Fob Battery for a 2020 Cadillac Escalade

The procedure to replace the battery in the key fob of a 2020 Cadillac Escalade is very simple. First, take the key fob from your car and remove the metal lever inside; to do this, press the button on the top of the fob (short side) and pull it out. Once the key is extracted, use it to pry at the edges of the fob to open it. At this point, you will have the cover open with the circuit board and battery compartment inside. Next, remove the dead battery by prying it out with the flat tip of a screwdriver, then replace it with a new one. The required model is a flat CR2032 battery. Close the fob and reinsert the key into its designated slot.
