If you intend to replace the battery on this vehicle model because it is dead, the description below provides all the information and useful instructions for a safe replacement. After lifting the hood, the battery is located on the right side. To access it, remove the screws securing the upper plate. First, disconnect the negative terminal and then the positive terminal. Remove the battery from the engine compartment and prepare the new one to install in place of the old one. Then reconnect the positive terminal first and then the negative terminal, and finally reposition and secure the screws of the upper plate.
