How do you reset the Service light on the Chevrolet Captiva?

The reset of the Service light that appears on the instrument panel of the Chevrolet Captiva is done by going inside the cabin and holding down the accelerator pedal, while the instrument panel is off. While holding it down, you will then need to insert the ignition key into the corresponding slot, turning it to turn on the instrument panel. Once it is turned on, you will need to wait a few seconds for all the lights to turn off. The Service light will turn off last after about ten seconds; once it has been reset, you can release the pedal and turn the key to turn off the instrument panel.
