How to Reset the Service Light on a Chevrolet Captiva

To reset the Service light on a Chevrolet Captiva, enter the cabin and press the accelerator pedal while the instrument cluster is off. While holding it down, insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster. Once it is on, wait a few seconds for all the warning lights to turn off. The Service light will turn off last after about ten seconds; once it is reset, you can release the pedal and switch off the instrument cluster.
