How to Reset the Service Light on the Chevrolet Captiva?

To reset the Service light on the Chevrolet Captiva, sit inside the cabin and press the accelerator pedal while the instrument cluster is off. While holding it down, insert the ignition key into the ignition barrel and turn it to power on the instrument cluster. Once it is on, wait a few seconds for all the lights to turn off. The Service light will turn off last after about ten seconds; once it has been reset, you can release the pedal and turn off the ignition.
