How to replace the spark plugs of the Chevrolet Aveo

Today we will explain how to replace the spark plugs of the Chevrolet Aveo independently. We park the vehicle on a flat area and let the engine cool down.

We open the front hood and remove the engine cover by unscrewing the screws. We remove the coils by disconnecting the connectors and removing the anchoring screws.

We remove each individual coil to access the underlying spark plugs with an extension and a 16 mm spark plug socket with magnetic insert, we remove the spark plugs. We insert the new spark plugs and adjust the tightening torque to about 25 Nm. We insert the coils and connectors and then mount the engine cover.

We close the hood and start the engine to check that the vehicle runs smoothly without any issues or warning lights.
