How to reset the service light on the Chevrolet Traverse

The service light comes on the instrument panel of the Chevrolet Traverse when it is necessary to perform a car service. After completing all the steps related to the service, such as changing the engine oil, we must reset the light. To perform this operation on a Traverse model produced from 2009 to 2017, we must turn on the instrument panel and press the CAR button, located on the central dashboard. We hold down the button until the "residual oil" message appears on the instrument panel display. We release and press the button a second time until the kilometers to the next car service are updated on the display.
