Is the battery of your Chevrolet Cruze key flat? Here’s how to open the key to change the battery. Open the metal key of the Cruze remote and, using a screwdriver, pry between the key and the plastic cover.

Pry until you separate the two parts of the remote (without breaking them). Remove the worn battery, take a new one of the same size and voltage, and insert it into the key. Reattach the battery cover on the remote by pressing it until you hear a click.

Check the proper functioning of the Chevrolet Cruze remote key by operating the buttons.
