Changing the oil on a Chevrolet Matiz? Along with the oil, replace the filter as well. Lift the car with a jack or column lift to access the oil sump plug. Unscrew the oil sump bolt; allow the fluid to drain into a container. Lower the car and access the engine bay: lift the front bonnet, locate the oil filter in the engine bay, and unscrew the large oil filter. Fit a new oil filter in the designated space. Top up with new oil, and check the level with the dipstick. After maintenance, close the front bonnet.
