Removing the radio from a Chevrolet Captiva? Let's look at how to take out the radio and install it. Use plastic levers to remove the radio cover panel. Insert the levers between the radio trim until it releases, then unscrew the securing screws on the sides of the radio. Pull the stereo towards you as shown in the video: carefully extract the radio, being mindful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Secure the original radio or a generic brand using the appropriate adapter for the input and connector. Refit the radio cover panels.
