Removing the Lock on a Chevrolet Cruze

Learn how to remove the lock from the door of a Chevrolet Cruze. Remove the cover from the opening handle, then unscrew the screws with a screwdriver. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips. Disconnect the connectors for the window lift motor, the speaker located in the handle, and the tension cable for the door opening lever. Grip the panel with your hands and lever it off the door. Remove the adhesive cover on the door metal and unscrew the lock retaining screws. Take the lock piece out from inside the door.
