Steering Wheel Removal on Chevrolet Matiz

Want to remove the steering wheel from the Matiz? Let's look at the disassembly process. Enter the vehicle, remove the inspection caps at the back of the steering wheel (if present), then, use a screwdriver to release and unscrew the retaining clips of the airbag cover (rear side). Once the airbag is released (driver's side), disconnect the power connectors and extract it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the nut that secures the steering wheel and remove it. After fitting the new steering wheel, press the airbag with your hands until the clips engage with the steering wheel. Test the operation of the steering wheel and ensure it is correctly mounted.
