Replacing Brake Pads on Chevrolet Cruze

Model: Chevrolet Cruze MK 1, J300 - Years 2009-2015

Loosen the bolts of the affected wheel, lift the car with a jack, and remove them completely. After removing the wheel, locate the 18 mm bolts securing the caliper. They are located behind the caliper, one at the top and one at the bottom, as shown in the video. Once the two bolts are removed, you can take out the caliper and remove the worn pads. If the new pads do not fit into the pistons, being obviously thicker than the worn ones, use a large flat screwdriver to push the pistons back. For reassembly, reverse the process, starting with the caliper and finishing with mounting the wheel.
