Replacing the engine air filter is one of the simplest and most important tasks to perform if you want to maintain the health of the engine, reducing the risk of overheating and more. To do this, lift the hood and locate the air filter box. Remove all the screws holding the plastic cover in place, then disconnect the connector.

At this point, simply remove the old filter and replace it with a new, compatible model. Finally, reposition the cover of the box and reattach the screws you removed earlier.

Reconnect the connector and close the hood.
