This guide will show you the steps to replace the dead key battery of your Chevrolet Equinox. You will only need a common flathead screwdriver or a similar object. First, locate the small metal button at the bottom of the cover and press it to fully release the physical emergency key. Next, using the flathead screwdriver, open the cover and find the dead battery. Simply replace it with a new one and finally, correctly reposition the cover and the physical key inside.
