To correctly replace the button battery located inside the smart key of your Chevrolet Equinox Mk3 (2018-2022), simply follow these easy steps. First, press and hold the small button on the side of the cover and fully remove the physical emergency key. Next, use the key you just removed to open the cover and access the dead battery. Finally, remove the old battery and replace it with a new one (model ECR 2032). Reassemble the cover correctly, and you are done.
