To be able to correctly replace the button battery located inside the smart key of your Chevrolet Equinox Mk3 (year 2018-2022) you just need to put these simple steps into practice. First of all, you have to hold down the small button on the side of the cover and completely remove the physical emergency key. At this point, use the key you just removed to open the cover and thus have access to the exhausted battery. Finally, remove the latter and replace it with a new one (model ECR 2032). Reassemble the cover correctly and you are done.
