In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the battery in the Chevrolet Equinox remote, a very simple and quick operation. To do this, get a small flathead screwdriver and a replacement battery of type CR2032. To open the remote, locate the slot near the ring, then insert the tip of the screwdriver into it and pry it open.

Once fully opened, remove the old battery and insert the replacement, making sure to position it with the negative side facing up. Finally, reassemble the two halves of the remote.
