First, open the tailgate and start by removing the two screws from the side brackets using a socket wrench. Then, disconnect the electrical connector by lifting the red clip to completely remove the tailgate, as shown in the video. At this point, if necessary, replace the tailgate by applying the reverse procedure for reinstallation!
