In this video, we see how to remove the rear tailgate of the Chevy Silverado: it's actually much easier than you might imagine because you don't even have to remove a single screw. We will only need an assistant because the tailgate is heavy. And this method works even if the tailgate has been damaged, as is the case in the video. First, we open it completely by pulling down the cargo area, then we push the hinge to one side so that the screw where the hinge rotates comes out from that side. We go to the other side, remove the clamp that stops the hinge's movement, and push the tailgate to the other side. At this point, it is already free. While the assistant holds it from the side that is already completely free, we remove the clamp from the side we initially freed. We take the tailgate in our hands and place it on the ground. Job done!
