Replacing the key fob battery for the Chevrolet Silverado is very simple. Follow these steps in this tutorial. For this operation, you will need a small flathead screwdriver and, of course, a replacement battery, model CR2032, 3V. To open the key fob, insert the tip of the screwdriver into the indicated slot on the back near the ring and pry it open. Once unlocked, completely remove the cover and extract the dead battery using the screwdriver. Finally, place the replacement battery in the correct orientation.
