In order to replace the Chevrolet Colorado gear knob, you have to remove the drinks compartment from the central tunnel: once this has been removed, it will be possible to pry it off so that the panel that surrounds the gear lever can be removed. Then, after this panel has been removed, the leather gear boot will have to be lifted, releasing the hook inside. This will disconnect the knob from the headset, so that both pieces can be removed; after removal, it will be possible to insert the new pieces, mounting all the other previously removed parts.
