How to Reset the Oil Light on the 2012 Chevrolet Express

If the oil change warning light continues to appear on the dashboard display of your 2012 Chevrolet Express, even after you have recently changed the engine oil, you need to perform the following manual reset. Once inside the cabin, ensure that the vehicle is completely off, then turn on the ignition. After that, locate the buttons on the left side of the dashboard. Start the ignition and press the button with a small car icon several times until you see the oil life option on the mini display. Finally, press and hold the "check" button and release it as soon as the reset is complete.
