To replace the air filter on a Chevrolet Equinox, open the hood and locate the box containing the filter, which is positioned near the right front headlight. To open the box, loosen all the screws that hold it in place and then disconnect the connector.

This way, the filter inside can be removed and replaced with a new part. After removing the old filter, insert the new part and close the box with the appropriate fastening screws, reconnecting the connector as well.
