How to Change the Emblem on a Chevrolet Traverse

Learn how to change the original gold-yellow emblem on a Chevrolet Traverse to a more aggressive black one, both on the front and rear of the vehicle. You can find a pair of matte black emblems on eBay for $220. The front operation is a bit more complicated, as you need to remove the plastic protective grille that serves as a stop for the hood. It involves removing some plastic clips and unscrewing a few screws. From there, you can access the front - from the inside - where you can gently remove the emblem you want to replace. Then you can easily replace it. At this point, just reassemble the piece you removed. The rear is much simpler, as the emblem is just glued on. Mask it with painter's tape, lightly lubricate it, even just with soap and water, and pull it off with a string. Remove any residue of glue and apply the new emblem. You can now remove the masking. Job done!
