How to Replace the Fuel Filters on the Chevrolet Captiva

This guide shows how to locate and replace the fuel filter on the Chevrolet Captiva 2.2 diesel. The fuel filter housing is located at the bottom of the vehicle, under the driver's seat. Using a spanner, undo the three bolts securing the protective plate and remove it to gain access to the filters. With a 27 mm spanner, unscrew the two caps of the filters and place a container to collect any excess fuel. Remove the old cartridges and install the new replacement parts. Tighten the filters in place and reattach the protective plate. Turn on the ignition a few times to fill the filters.
