Removing Rear Wiper Arm

Removing the rear wiper arm is very straightforward. First, remove the plastic protective cap at the base of the arm and unscrew the securing nut. To slide the arm off the spindle, it may be necessary to use a puller or a pair of channel-lock pliers as shown in the video. In any case, it can be helpful to spray some penetrating oil before attempting the manoeuvre. Once the arm is removed from the spindle, fit the new one, orienting it correctly so that the wiper starts at least one centimetre higher than the edge of the rear window, and tighten the nut before replacing the plastic cap.
