Following these simple steps, we will see how to open the key remote and replace the battery of the Chevrolet Equinox. First, take the remote in hand and start to pry on the sides to open it in two parts, accessing the electronic board and the battery; then remove and replace the battery with the new one, of the correct type (in this case a CR 2032 3V), as shown in the video. Now insert the battery in the correct direction and reassemble the remote board, finally fixing the two remote shells and checking the functioning of the controls.
