Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Replacing the engine oil and filter is an extremely simple maintenance task: once the vehicle is raised on a lift, unscrew the drain plug from the bottom of the oil sump, allowing the used oil to flow into a suitable container. After draining, re-screw the plug. Just in front of the oil sump is the filter; unscrew it with a metal strap wrench, being careful of oil spillage. Apply clean oil to the gasket of the new filter and screw it into place. Finally, fill the engine with new oil until the correct level is reached.
