These short and simple instructions will show us how to disassemble and replace the alternator of the Citroen Xsara. First of all, we open the engine hood and start by disconnecting the battery terminals (positive and negative); then we remove the alternator belt by loosening the tensioner, using the appropriate wrench, as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the power steering pump and unscrew the alternator bolts to remove it, disconnecting the electrical wiring; we repair or replace the component, finally reassembling everything!
