How to remove the indicator stalk on a Citroen Xsara Picasso? Follow these steps for disassembly: before removing the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals. Use a screwdriver and appropriate bit to unscrew the plastic covers of the steering wheel, then remove the airbag by unscrewing the screws present. Once the airbag is removed, disconnect the power connectors; immediately after, unscrew the central torx bolt of the steering wheel and disconnect the power connectors. Pull the steering wheel off by hand after marking the tightening position with a marker. Remove the indicator stalk from the steering column.
