How to remove the airbag from a Citroen Xsara Picasso? Let's see how to disassemble the airbag located above the steering wheel. Disconnect the battery terminals before removing the airbag. To proceed with the disassembly: unscrew the airbag fastening screws using a socket or screwdriver. Once the airbag (driver's side) is released, disconnect the power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. After removing the old airbag, reconnect the power connectors: press the airbag onto the steering wheel with your hands while simultaneously screwing in the screws at the back. Check all previously mounted parts.
