In this video, we see where the EGR valve of the Citroen Jumpy is located: it is an essential component for reducing nitrogen oxide emissions in diesel engines, and it works by recirculating a portion of the exhaust gases back into the combustion chamber (EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation), lowering the combustion temperature and improving engine efficiency. The video creates a bit of confusion between the Citroen Jumpy and Jumper, the difference being in size and load capacity: in fact, the location of the EGR valve is the same for both vehicles, and it is located behind the engine.
