How to change oil and filter on a Citroen C1

In this video, we will see how to change the engine oil and filter of the Citroen C1: we start by unscrewing the oil cap, lift the car and support it on jack stands, unscrew the drain plug after placing a large basin to collect the old oil (which will be disposed of correctly at an authorized center). The filter is located at the top, on one side of the engine; unscrew it with a 67 mm socket, being careful as it still contains oil. Lubricate the rubber gasket of the new filter with clean oil, screw it on by hand and then tighten it to 23 Nm. Now go underneath and put on a new plug and gasket: tighten the plug to 27 Nm. Lower the car and pour the new oil into the filler neck: the capacity is 3.6 liters. Check the level with the dipstick as you pour the oil. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes, until the oil pressure light goes off, then recheck the level and top up if necessary.
